History
After several years in the jewelry industry, Peter Ball teamed up with his brother, James, and long-time friend Matt Brown to establish Peter Franklin Jewelers in 1988. Our first store, in downtown New Haven, served as both our retail and repair shop. Our company's vision was to provide exceptional customer service and a unique selection of fine jewelry at outstanding values.
In 1993, a second store was opened at the corner of Dupont and Coldwater Roads. In 1998, a third store was added in Angola, just west of the downtown circle. Our company expanded again in 2003, opening a new location on Dupont Road, just west of our previous store. The new building features a 6,000 square foot show room and houses our expanded state-of-the-art repair and design shop along with administrative offices.
Peter Franklin Jewelers has experienced growth and success in northern Indiana over the past 22 years. Our staff has increased from the three founders to reach over 20 team members. Our commitment continues to be focused on providing high quality jewelry and customer service, one guest at a time.
A Message from the Owners
In the process of repairing and creating jewelry for other businesses, we saw what the quality of their merchandise was and how they priced their jewelry. We knew that we could offer a truly superior quality product at a better price. Hence, Peter Franklin Jewelers was established on January 1, 1988. Over two decades and three stores later, we still pride ourselves on our full-service commitment to quality. We still manufacture our own jewelry pieces and are exclusive partners with some of the best manufacturers in the business.
